Welcome to SolvedIn6: Free practice problems for the Professional Engineering Exam! Each question is styled after those created by the NCEES, and is usually solved in under 6 minutes, which is the average time you will have to solve each question on the Professional Engineering Exam.
Today's problem is a conceptual one regarding water treatment and contaminant removal. It could also be on the Environmental Engineering exam. The problem simply asks which of the provided answers will be the best choice for removing arsenic from water. The reference manual will not be much help here. This is one of those questions on the PE that actually tests your discipline-specific subject-matter knowledge. It is okay to not know all of the answers on the exam, so don't get too frustrated if you struggle with concept questions like this. There will not be many of them. Use problems like this as an excuse to do some light brushing up on the basic topic that the question asks. Then move on with your life :)
