Rycote HC22 microphone - First impressions and recording examples

Описание: The new Rycote HC22 shotgun microphone seems promising for wildlife and nature sound recording. I had one on my recent expedition to Kenya and put it through some tests. First impressions are great but I will need to test it in more extreme conditions before I can review it properly. Full disclosure: Rycote sent me some kit including this microphone and also sponsored my Kenya expedition. They don't get any input on what I say/write about the kit and they don't get access to videos or blog posts before I post them. I've been using their blimps for probably a decade and I'm not going to treat their equipment or brand any differently moving forward.
