THE MONSTER'S PRAYER | Heavy Metal Rock with Symphonic Elements | The Fallen Soul's Plea | Nova Blackwood
😇 A monster prays for salvation they know will never come. Someone who has done terrible things, desperate for an angel, knowing they're beyond redemption - told through crushing metal rock with symphonic elements and soaring operatic vocals.
Blood on their hands that won't fade. Built a throne on broken bones. Took what wasn't theirs to take. Every face, every scream, every lie - the memories haunt them. They see the victims in their dreams. Voices echo in their head. They're losing their mind.
So they pray. To gods they don't believe in. To heavens cold and gone. Begging for salvation from a grace they've moved beyond.
I wish I had an angel. To wash away my sin. To save my dying soul.
But they know the truth. They're beyond redemption. No light will find them here. If angels walk the earth, they turn away. Heaven closes its eyes. No angels appear.
Every choice that brought them here was theirs alone. They built this hell around themselves. Now they reap what they have sown.
One moment of forgiveness. One touch of holy light. One angel to redeem them before eternal night. But they are past forgiveness. The darkness is their kingdom now. The battle's lost, not won.
I wish I had an angel. But wishes don't come true. I am the monster in the dark. And darkness is my due.
The final realization, broken and desperate: I am what angels fear.
This is the monster's prayer. And no angels are listening.
⚔️ THE FALLEN SOUL:
They remember every face. The blood won't fade no matter how they try. They pray to gods they don't believe in, begging for an angel to wash away their sins. But they know - deep down they know - no angel will come for them. They've moved beyond redemption. The darkness is their kingdom now.
This isn't about excuses. This is about guilt that won't let go. About praying when you know you're damned. About wishing for salvation you don't deserve and won't receive. The monster who still has enough humanity left to pray - but not enough to be saved.
The question that haunts: If I could have one angel, one moment of forgiveness, would it change what I've become?
The answer that breaks: I am what angels fear. Wishes don't come true. Darkness is my due.
This is prayer from the unredeemable. Desperate hope meeting crushing reality. The monster who wishes they had an angel, knowing no angels will appear.
The monster prays. But heaven doesn't answer.

LYRICS:
I remember every face,
Every scream, every lie,
The blood upon my hands won't fade,
No matter how I try
I built my throne on broken bones,
On promises betrayed,
I took what wasn't mine to take,
And now the price is paid
I see them in my dreams at night,
The ones I left behind,
Their voices echo in my head,
I'm losing my mind
I wish I had an angel!
To wash away my sin!
An angel!
To save my dying soul!
But I know that I'm beyond redemption,
No light will find me here!
I wish I had an angel!
But no angels appear!
I pray to gods I don't believe in,
To heavens cold and gone,
I'm begging for salvation,
From a grace that I've moved beyond
Every choice that brought me here,
Was mine and mine alone,
I built this hell around myself,
Now I reap what I have sown
If angels walk among the earth,
They turn away from me,
I see their wings in shadows,
But heaven turns from me
I wish I had an angel!
To wash away my sin!
An angel!
To save my dying soul!
But I know that I'm beyond redemption,
No light will find me here!
I wish I had an angel!
But no angels appear!
One moment of forgiveness,
One touch of holy light,
One angel to redeem me,
Before eternal night
But I am past forgiveness,
I know what I have done,
The darkness is my kingdom now,
The battle's lost not won
I wish I had an angel,
But wishes don't come true,
I am the monster in the dark,
And darkness is my due
I wished I had an angel!
To wash away my sin!
An angel!
To save my dying soul!
But I am far beyond redemption,
No light will touch me here!
I wished I had an angel!
But I am what angels fear!
Angels!
They don't appear!
