Was showing some family part of the Ironman 70.3 Coeur d'Alene bike course that I am racing in 2 weeks and of course I had to bring something to fly. Really beautiful spot, wish it was sunny out but still loved flying the area. Lucky for me I have had good success with programming GPS rescue because it saved me on this flight. Guessing that “tree” at the top of the hill was a cell tower or something that killed my connection because I flew further at other times during the flight with no issues and even flew further in another flight at a different location.
