Now in 2026, reports have emerged that the same officers who once provided security during the campaign trail have again been arrested and subjected to interrogation.

Bobi Wine says these officers were simply doing their job with professionalism, patriotism, and respect for the law, yet they continue to face persecution for protecting a presidential candidate during a tense political environment.

In his message, Bobi Wine calls on Ugandans and the international community to stand in solidarity with these officers and demand justice and freedom for those who are being targeted for doing their duty.
