I Turned $2,000 Speakers Into Garbage

Описание: I put my speakers on the floor and tried to mix a song. It was a disaster. I had just 6 hours to mix and master my next track with the worst possible speaker placement and zero acoustic treatment.

This audio engineering challenge pushed my ears to the limit. I wanted to see if I could get a pro-sounding mix while dealing with extreme phase cancellation, room modes, and terrible bass build-up.

In this mixing challenge, I had to deal with:
• The reality of bad acoustics: How untreated rooms destroy your stereo image.
• Monitor placement mistakes: Why positioning your studio monitors wrong ruins frequency response.
• Critical listening: How to trust your ears when you can't trust your room.
• Fixing the mix: Using reference tracks to salvage a recording in a compromised environment.
