Strawberry Muffins

Wet Ingredients :
• 3/4 cup (170g) brown sugar, firmly packed P11.00
• 1/4 cup (60g) vegetable oil or any type of oil - P11.00
• 2 large eggs, room temp - P15.00
• 1 tbsp vanilla flavoring - P2.00

Dry Ingredients:
• 2 cups (250g) all purpose flour, sifted once - 12.00
• 1 tbsp (12g) baking powder - P2.00
• 1 tsp baking soda - P1.00
• 1 tsp cinnamon powder - P3.00
• 1/2 tsp iodized salt - P0.50
• 3/4 cup (180g) fresh milk - P15.00

Fillings and toppings:
1/2 cup canned strawberry pie filling, Comstock brand - P55.00
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or chopped almonds - P20.00

Baking Time:
Preheat oven at 180⁰C for 15 minutes, then bake for 35 minutes to 40 minutes depending on the size of your muffin or until the stick test comes out clean. Make sure to keep an eye after 30 minutes.
If using 3 oz cupcake liner, bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
Turn the pan around halfway through the baking around 25 mins for even cooking or 10 minutes if using cupcake liners. This is for gas oven only.
*You can also cook this in water steam or dry steam in low heat at the same time.
