Jason "moses" O'Toole, famed colour commentator and analyst and former CS 1.6 pro, is the star of the 506th Episode of 'Reflections'. This is part one of four about moses's career.

moses was a relatively early CS 1.6 pro, breaking out as a player in 2003. Playing under the leadership of older brother Hare their United5 team established themselves online and off as one of NA's best. Most famously that resulted in a seventh place finish at CPL Winter 2003 where they both defeated Team3D, NA's most famous names, and were the last remaining NA side in the tournament.

moses's playing career was shortlived as he would step away from U5 when the team decided to go all local and live in a house together. moses went over to play for TEC instead where he remained a top talent, but the team did not produce big results offline.

Remaining a part of the community via some content creation over the coming years it wouldn't be until CS:GO moses would fully emerge again. Early on playing with former team-mate fRoD, moses would make a full return to relevance as a commentator and analyst in around 2015. He quickly became a permanent part of the CS broadcast talent rotation.

After many years of working as a desk analyst alongside myself he would form a commentary duo with Anders and later dinko. moses has worked at every single CS major from ESL One Cologne 2015 onwards with the exception of PGL Antwerp in 2022.

In part one, moses talks about his early days as a player, the influence of his brother on his career and their team, making a run at CPL Winter 2003 and why he didn't have a longer playing career.
