Описание: This theme focuses on how countries and governments can continue financing development priorities without jeopardizing long‑term fiscal health. Participants will reflect on the main elements of fiscal sustainability: sufficient and fair revenue, efficient and effective public spending, well‑managed deficits and debt, and the ability to respond to shocks such as crises, disasters, or demographic change. Through discussions and practical examples, they will learn to view programs and policies from both a development and a fiscal perspective—considering costs, benefits, trade‑offs, and risks. By the end, participants should be able to situate their own ideas and initiatives within a broader medium‑term fiscal framework that protects fiscal space and supports stable, inclusive growth.
