Описание: Dances of the Dunes is a dark, dreamlike wind ensemble piece inspired by the rich musical traditions and landscapes of the Middle East. Built on a unique, modified Arabian scale (lowered 7th), the work weaves intricate textures that blend soaring woodwind lines, bold low brass melodies, intuitive and rhythmic percussion, and two expressive trumpet solos. The piece unfolds like a story carried on desert winds, moving between moments of tension, mystery, and lyrical beauty. Composed over seven months and polished for over a year, Dances of the Dunes is deeply personal to me; it marks my first fully realized original composition and reflects my lifelong fascination with exploring other musical cultures. This work is a celebration of discovery, imagination, and the shared language of music, and I am honored to finally share it with the world.
