Following up the upload of Doom 2 with a very loud mastering of the original Doom soundtrack for you to rock out to. The songs here are so well known that people often refer to them by the four letter code word instead of song title but I included both below.

Music was composed by Bobby Prince who was a lawyer before picking up game music and he was actively blogging about music and DAWs until fairly recently. He commented that the software used to compose was Cakewalk with Sequencer Plus Gold ("SPG") by Voyetra for sequencing. His blog contains nuggets of wisdom for those interested in game development and music.
