After totally rebuilding my Suzuki RG400, it is still unwell.
School boy mistake resulted in the gearbox breaking.
Eventually, thankfully to Mark Dent where he rebuilt it. New bearings and a few new gears. I put it all back together to find it still will not go from 1st to neutral. I am now thinking it is actually more of a clutch drag issue.
It doesn't help that the engine appears to be running on 2 or 3 cylinders.
After my little run out, I have ordered new coils, plugs and caps, as a start to fix the engine issues. Then I'll focus on the clutch to see if it is this or the gearbox.
