Mongstadbase AS was established in 1984 as a supply base for Norsk Hydro's activities on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company was acquired by Coast Center Base AS in June 2015, and changed its name to CCB Mongstad AS from September 3, 2015. With around 260 employees, CCB Mongstad AS is one of the largest private employers in the region.
CCB Mongstad AS operates a modern ISPS-approved port facility with cranes, transportation equipment, and good storage facilities for both indoor and outdoor storage. The base supplies around twenty installations. The base has more than 2,500 vessel calls annually, and more than 1 million tons are shipped in and out over the quays at Mongstad South. CCB Mongstad is the largest supply base in the country.
Activity is expected to increase further, and work on the construction of new facilities and area expansion is ongoing. Together with a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment, this will make CCB Mongstad a modern and efficient player in the future.
