SOLICTOR LICENSE IN UK
As a foreign lawyer you need to clear the SQE 1 and 2 Exam for getting the license of solicitor from SRA but occasionally you may get exemption from SQE 1 and 2 Exam.
You simply need to go through following steps:
Step 1:
Get a license of Advocate High Court.
Step 2:
Make a list of all your cases and get it signed by your senior. Take a certificate of standing from your BAR association and arrange a LAW degree and all other educational documents.
Step 3:
Got SRA website and create your account.
Step 4:
Submit the documents with BAR certificate, educational degrees and list of cases (All Documents) for getting individual exemption from SQE exam.
Wait for the decision. If you get the exemption, you will get the license of solicitor from SRA.
SQE 1 will cost £1,1558 and SQE 2 will cost £2,422. The combined cost is, therefore, £3,980.
