Raghav Chadha, Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha Member appointment to head the temporary advisory panel to assist the Punjab Government has been challenged in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The plea in the High Court sought Chadha’s appointment to be dismissed, calling it unconstitutional. The move also evoked sharp reactions from the opposition, who has called this as the Kejriwal’s move to control Punjab. This move was called illegal by the Punjab panel. All the political parties say that it should not be done in a way this has been appointed by the AAP government. The oppositions say that it seems to be Punjab CM is weakened by this post.
