The ex-Scottish first minister was answering questions from the inquiry's main lawyer Hugo Keith KC about pandemic preparedness.

After Sturgeon then said that Brexit as a whole was a 'false economy, Mr Keith said that this was a 'witness box, not a soapbox'.
