🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Leaving our hidden lake 🏕 Relaxing Camp Day 2

Описание: Day 2 of a beautiful overland wild camp deep in the Galloway Forest. A lovely slow start to the day, waking at 0430 to the sound of a Cuckoo in the forest. I had to remove a tick from poor Tommy's armpit in the night, who knows how it managed to get there! He was on fine form though.

After breaking camp, we make our way to the Big Water of Fleet Viaduct. The viaduct was part of the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway, known as the 'Paddy Line' for it's connection of trade to Ireland. The line opened ~1875 and was in use until 1965, when it was closed after the Beeching review - a great shame!

From the fantastic Big Water of Fleet Viaduct, we travel back north through the forest until we reach the main road south of Clatteringshaws dam.
