Paint with me in my sketchbook using Kuretake’s Gansai Tambi watercolours and Prismacolour colour pencils.
You’ll get to see the behind-the-scenes of creating this illustration. From layering the colours, to finding creative flow by pushing through the ugly phases, and experimenting with watercolour and pencil together. I’m trying to let go of perfection and more accepting of an illustration’s ugly phase/s and simply enjoy the process. Maybe you’ll be inspired to open your sketchbook too.
Materials used: gansai tambi watercolors by kuretake, prismacolor colored pencils, talens art creation mixed media sketchbooks.
