Описание: Audi Sport took the acclaimed R8 to its pinnacle with the Audi Sport R8 Performance Parts Edition, a unique and limited edition model and the most focused and capable road going R8 ever built.

Just 44 cars were produced worldwide with only 5 right hand-drive examples in the UK all finished in striking Audi Exclusive Misano Red pearl effect paintwork.

It was a collaboration between Audi Sport GmbH and Audi Sport Performance Parts to celebrate the success of the R8 in motorsport, specifically in the GT3 racing series.

The 602 BHP V10 remains at the heart of this limited edition model but motorsport proven upgrades transform its performance.

To start with you have a full aerodynamic styling package with special aerodynamic vanes located behind the rear wheel arches which focus airflow and a bespoke carbon fibre large, fixed rear wing. A deep carbon fibre front splitter, carbon fibre sculpted canards and carbon fibre side skirts with Audi Sport branding and a Audi R8 sports exhaust with titanium components are some of the most noticeable additions. All of these elements result in an increase in downforce so that at 205mph it generates 250kg of negative lift, 100kg more than the standard Audi R8 V10 Plus and at 93mph the aero kit doubles downforce to an astonishing 520kg

The car comes standard with ceramic composite brakes with titanium lightweight backing plates, uprated brake pads, three-way adjustable coilovers and ultra-lightweight milled 20 inch satin black forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres delivering razor sharp handling and track ready braking. These offer a substantial 8kg reduction in unsprung mass, aiding agility, acceleration and braking

Inside, you will find the R8 Recaro bucket seats in perforated fine nappa leather, an Exclusive Alcantara Sport contour steering wheel with 12`0 clock marker in red, carbon fibre trim and extensive use of Alcantara along with the usual excellent standard features found in the R8 V10 Plus such as but not limited to Audi Smartphone Interface, rear view camera, MMI Navigation, Audi connect and Virtual Cockpit

This is the closest an R8 has ever come to its racing roots, a car that is greater than the sum of its parts and also the rarest R8 ever made.
