You'll find lessons reviewing the basics of figure bass, using accidentals in figured bass, information about common chord progressions, advice on adding suspensions and much more.
The basic method for adding a figured bass in the grade 7 ABRSM exam is this. First, work out the key and modulations. Then tackle the easiest chords; the cadences, V-I progressions and suspensions. Then fill in any chords which are left over, always leaving the trickiest ones until the end.
