As a child navigating the complex foster care system, she endured numerous placements and school changes, never truly experiencing the comfort of a stable home. It was during the final stretch of her time in foster care that her now adoptive family introduced her to Olive Crest and our Independent Living Services (ILS) Program, where she was connected with Mykala, a dedicated Olive Crest Case Manager.
