LDV convoy minibus campervan conversion.
4 months for completion of build, this was our evenings, weekends and holidays to complete. 1st month was stripping inside out, preparing the body and renewing parts in engine.
Plan, plan, plan, then reevaluate and plan again. We'd been looking for roughly 18 months at what we wanted and how we wanted the overall build. The bed was priority over space. We're campers and have tried a few ways and wanted the bed fixed high and ready for comfortable sleep, there's nothing worse than having to build and put away a bed after or before travelling. Our storage for almost everything is under the bed (the garage as they call it). Only have a toilet - a shower, wetroom will be in our next build.
We have a small toilet cubicle and small kitchen area, which are adequate for what we need them for.
The wiring is 12vlt and we have the 240v hook up for toaster and kettle if we're on a site with ehu.
The camper (Luna) is self-sufficient. Solar panels 200w on the roof, connected to x 2 105amp leisure batteries.
