The Kerala government has issued fresh orders on containment measures amid a surge in Covid-19 cases in the state. According to the government, it has been found that the micro-containment zones need to be set up in all the places where clustering of cases is being observed. The government has also emphasised surveillance action and contact tracing of the infected individuals.
