Описание: Backpacking The Wonderland Trail | Mount Rainier 2021 | Mystic Camp to Mowich Lake - Day 2 // After packing up camp and making a brief stop at Mystic Lake on our way out of camp, we headed back out on trail for a full day of hiking, heading up towards Mowich Lake. Along the way, we’d see countless views of Mount Rainier thanks to the beautiful weather, made amends with the Dick Creek water crossing from last year, hoked alongside the Carbon Glacier and got an incredible foot soak in at lunch. Once we crossed the intense Carbon River bridge, we were treated with the most hellacious climb up to camp. It would be one of the hardest climbs we’d do on our entire trip. Once at Mowich Lake, our first food cache and another beautiful lake waited for us.

Total Mileage: 12.9 miles
Total Ascent: 3,595.8 feet
Total Descent: 4,208.3 feet
