Mapan Bhusal, who was born and raised in Darjeeling, India, spent a significant portion of his life as a teacher. He actually taught in several districts across Nepal. Interestingly, his childhood friend, Adrian Pradhan, was also a fellow teacher. It was while working in the field of teaching that Mapan wrote 'Nepali Ho' for the band 1974 A.D. That song really catapulted the band into the spotlight. These days, whenever he meets someone, he always seems to be walking around saying, 'Yo Man ta Mero Nepali ho.' The life journey of that very Mapan is shown in this video.
