My Golf Mk2 GTI, from hidden damage to almost new

Описание: It has been a long time coming for my Golf Mk2 GTI to be finished, and does the car look pretty. As with my E92 M3 the car is very OEM+, with quite a few rare and special upgrades.

The engine is equipped with Weber 45 DCOE carburetors for that unique roar. The interior is fully original but with a Wiechers rollbar, CAE shifter, head rests for the rear seats, Audi 80 sunroof tilt mechanism and some gimmicks from Golf Mk2 Parts. Suspension is from KW installed by KCPerformance, camber plates are added and the Porsche C2 wheels compliment the Porsche 944 doorhandles.

NonStandard has supported me hugely with fixing a hidden damage on the right front corner, which suddenly became a weak part of the car. Using donor car parts, and here and there the occasional powdercoat and some zink plating to finish the surgery.

With the louvres and the Hella Heckblende the rear looks pretty retro. Obviously the exterior also shows the splitter from Euro Magic Voomeran, Hideo-san also supported me in getting another part, which is sneak previewed at the end of the video.
