Описание: We knew that the train ride from Palermo to Cefalu would be quick and easy. Cefalu is perfect for a day trip and during our last few days in Sicily, we finally made it Cefalu. The train ride is an easy and quick hour from Palermo Central Station. It’s a small and easily walkable city, so we decided that a day trip was sufficient for a last minute journey. We discovered it’s best to buy tickets online and early, if you want your choice of 1st or 2nd class tickets. Very small price difference, and having that assigned seat is extremely helpful, or would have been, on a busy Friday afternoon. A gorgeous weather day, some yummy food and 11k steps later, we were very pleased we had visited the little town of Cefalu. #palermo #cefalu #sicily #traintravel #daytrip
