24-hour power supply to farms likely in a year | CM KCR

Описание: HYDERABAD: Under flak from the opposition for allegedly neglecting the farm sector, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that efforts will be made to supply power to the agricultural sector in the state for 24 hours a day in about a year or a year and a half.

Rao has said his government will create a Rs 500-crore fund in the coming budget to address the issue of minimum support price permanently. Agricultural produce will also be sold under the farmers committees.
