10 Mile Bank, Norfolk. Run by the London Anglers Association.
Weather, sunny, 28c dropping to 11c. Air Pressure, 1015, moderate. Wind negligible.
First off, what lovely swims, cut and maintained by Scott the bailiff. Thanks, Buddy.
This was a steep learning curve for me. With 18-19 feet down the middle and 11 feet in the margins, and this being similar for miles, there was no obvious feature. In hindsight, pre-baiting would have paid off. Unfortunately, with it being a 2-hour-plus drive, it’s not reasonable.
This session for both Gaz and me proved difficult. That said, I still decided to do a report. If you’re a day tripper and after a big bag of silvers, roach, rudd, and skimmers, then this is the place for you. They are there in abundance, just rock up and fill your net.
For Gaz and me, the target was carp. I did manage 1 screamer of a run, which I just didn’t connect with. No seals this week, although a local told me they had a couple dolphin and couple of years back. I was like, what! Imagine that on film haha.
Onto Alton next week. I hope you’ve enjoyed my short, and hopefully, informative video this week.
Cheers, Steve and tight lines, wherever you are casting a line.
