The brand name Oreo is basically synonymous with chocolate sandwich cookies that have a cream filling. It's without a doubt the champion when it comes to brand recognition, to the point where similar products are often the butt of jokes about the brand inferiority.
It's true that over the past century-plus, tons of copycat cookies have hit store shelves. Many of them are indeed the lesser cookie. But we wanted to try one in particular to see how it matches up: The Aldi store brand, Benton's. We tested them to see which cookie sandwich reigns supreme.
