My Military Journey – From Training to Teaching

This is Muhammad Ashraf from your YouTube channel Mohabbat-e-Pakistan. I have previously shared details about my military life. Today, I will continue my story.

After returning from Nakron to Dudhnial, I received firing training. Later, I was sent to B Company for helipad construction along with 20–25 soldiers. Captain Iftikhar Shah was the company commander, while SJCO Nazar, CHM Diwan Ali, Operator Ali Ahmad, and Aslam from Sakhira were also there. We started building the helipad.

The next day, a message from the unit announced that soldiers who had completed the 9th grade and wished to continue their 10th-grade education should submit their names. My name, along with Samiullah's, was forwarded by the company commander. The next day, eight of us, including:

We were interviewed at the unit. The following morning, we traveled in a Unimog truck to Muzaffarabad Ambore Camp. After two days, we received our nomination roll and proceeded to 1 AK Brigade near Domel Bridge, where the Neelum and Jhelum Rivers meet. We attended our classes there until April, took our exams, and returned to the unit.

Upon arrival, I was posted to Alpha Company, which was stationed at a high altitude with two forward posts named Dana Baig and Dana Top. At Dana Baig, military classes were being conducted, including AEC Third and Map Reading Third.

Major Khalid Waheed Butt appointed me as their instructor. I taught the classes, conducted exams, and then returned to Dudhnial. Afterward, I received two months of leave and went home.
