Where we went
Lone Rock Beach (Lake Powell) → Glen Canyon National Recreation Area → Alstrom Point’s sweeping overlook → Smoky Mountain’s 1,200‑ft switchbacks → Escalante → a tight sandstone canyon and a star‑soaked campfire.

How it drives
Ram 5500 chassis with a 360‑hp Cummins diesel inline‑six and 8‑speed automatic.

LiquidSpring suspension (3 modes, 5 ride heights) that monitors inputs 1,000×/second—yielding body control that’s tighter than a GMC Hummer EV.

Confident pace on gravel (30–40 mph); on steep climbs the narrow powerband can bog between 1st and 2nd, but manual shifts help.
