Join us as we take you on a walkaround and along the trenches at Brecourt Manor in Normandy - the scene of Easy Company's D-Day assault on the German gun batterie behind Utah Beach.
Led by Lt. Richard D Winters, the 101st Airborne took out four massive howitzers hidden in a hedgerow in an attack which was so successful the tactics are still being taught in military academies to this day.
The trench system is off limits to the public but our friends own the site and allow us to visit to film both inside the trenches and with our drone, bring you some amazing views of this historic location.
In 2022, a major archaeological dig took place at Brecourt Manor and some of the amazing discoveries can been seen on display at the end of our video too.
