Yumemi's theme. …One of my favorite PC-98 characters! Although she is an eccentric professor, rather than a student, she has a lot in common with Sumireko. Cape-clad human final bosses from the outside world are destined to be dramatically cynical about society before announcing that they'll make everyone believe them soon enough.

In particular, the society that Yumemi is cynical toward is (probably) the same futuristic society that Renko and Merry are from... so I had fun dropping a bunch of subtle references to suggest that connection as well. I like to imagine that Yumemi was the physics professor at their university before getting kicked out for her wild theories and going on her interdimensional field trip to Gensokyo.

Nonsense background comments from her student assistant Chiyuri rescue the tone from being too seriously edgy.
