Key Functional Features

1. Multi-Valve Testing Capability
The CCUBTB is capable of testing 27 distinct types of pneumatic valves found in metro rail air brake systems. These include:
Air Dryer Unit: Ensures that compressed air is moisture-free to prevent corrosion or operational failures.
Anti-Skid Valve: Prevents wheel skidding by modulating brake pressure.
Distributor Valve: Manages airflow between brake cylinders and control reservoirs.
Emergency Brake Valve: Ensures rapid braking during emergency conditions.
Piston Valve, Magnet Valve, Pressure Reducer Valve, Check Valve, Safety Valve, and others.

2. Dual Operating Modes
The bench is designed to accommodate both novice and expert operators through dual-mode functionality:
Automatic Mode: Utilizes pre-programmed sequences to run diagnostic and functional tests automatically. The system offers flexibility to select specific valves or tests when required.
Manual Mode: Allows the operator to control each test manually using toggle switches and control panels for precise testing under varying conditions.

3. Comprehensive Computerized Control System
A PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) governs all automatic operations.
DAQ (Data Acquisition System) integrated with custom software enables real-time monitoring of test parameters.
Operators can configure test sequences, input parameters, and generate automated reports in PDF format for documentation.
The system includes graphical interface screens, facilitating ease of use, parameter modification, and result analysis.

4. High-Performance Pneumatic System
Air Pressure Capacity: Rated for 10.5 kg/cm2, with an operational supply range of 8 to 10 kg/cm2.
Flow Rate: Supports a maximum flow of 2400 LPM, enabling rapid testing cycles.
Equipped with multiple air reservoirs for Brake Pipe (BP), Brake Cylinder (BC), Auxiliary Reservoir (AR), and Control Reservoir (CR) systems.

5. Precision Instrumentation
Digital pressure gauges with high accuracy (±0.5 percent of full scale), least count of 0.1 kg/cm2.
Pressure transmitters with 4–20mA signal output.
Sound level sensors (30–130 dB range) to test and monitor horn functionality.
Dew point meters to ensure compressed air meets moisture-free requirements for optimal performance.

System Components
The CCUBTB consists of multiple integrated systems to ensure seamless testing and data acquisition:
1. Test Bench Structure
Built with SS-304 and aluminum profile framing for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.
Modular design with detachable side and rear panels for easy access during maintenance.
The test stand includes integrated reservoirs and pneumatic piping, minimizing external connections and reducing the risk of leaks.

2. Air Treatment and Distribution
Twin Tower Air Dryer (flow capacity of 2000 LPM) ensures consistent delivery of clean and dry compressed air.
Inline pneumatic valves and pressure regulators rated for pressures up to 12 bar provide precise control of airflow during tests.
Fitted with 5-micron pre-filters, post-filters, and fine filters to maintain air quality.

3. Control Panels and Electrical Systems
Data Acquisition Panel: Houses hardware components to interface between sensors, control valves, and software.
PLC Control Panel: Automates test sequences and integrates with the computer system.
UPS: Guarantees uninterrupted power for critical operations.
Equipped with emergency stop functions and safety interlocks to prevent system damage during faults.

4. Measurement and Analysis Tools
Includes a Digital Readout (DRO) panel to display real-time pressure, flow, and system diagnostics.
Test data is recorded, saved, and automatically compiled into detailed reports for analysis and audit purposes.
