Bosnia/Croatia - Serbs Release Bihac Convoys

Описание: (8 Dec 1994) Rebel Serbs on Thursday released two U.N. emergency convoys for
beleaguered civilians and U.N. peacekeepers in a Bosnian Moslem
enclave after blocking them for hours, U.N. officials said. Serb
forces in the breakaway Krajina region of Croatia waved through 10
U.N. food aid trucks and an accompanying U.N. military resupply
convoy, both bound for the Bihac pocket in neighbouring Bosnia,
they said. Both convoys had been blocked at the Moscenica checkpoint entering the Krajina area since early morning by Serb militiamen refusing to honour a written clearance from their civilian interior ministry.
