VOD review! I should make a point of putting matches where I outright lose so that my lack of fundies when I'm under pressure shows.
Known issues:
1. Landing with down air on the assumption he might run under me (he's ness, he'd rarely if ever)
2. Getting jump caught at close range because ness fair beats my options, and I should instead be patient
3. Parrying ness fair continuously because I keep trying to make up for the fact I am running into people using the delay mod, instead of having patience.
4. Overreliance on reversal slash (down b/cape) just because I have it. I am happy to have the move, but it served little purpose outside of air stalling and getting me killed in that set, so I should choose my battles and not use it at every moment while being "Chekhov's gun'd" by Ness side b. I DEFINITELY shouldn't be down b-ing in the wrong direction just because I feel like stalling, when I could just up b to stage.
5. Lack of up air. The opponent likes to jump, so it stands to reason I should wait for their jump at medium range and prepare a short hop up air or back air for them, instead of getting antsy and spamming projectiles at long range as if I'm Diavolo going "Don't come near me!".
6. Dropped confirms due to stress. Multiple down tilts and up airs received no follow up back air due to me simply getting unnerved by the skill of my opponent. In future, this can't stand if I genuinely want to fight competent players on even footing.
And that's about that. All other feedback appreciated, besides that telling me to change my specials. Any mistakes I make while using them are mine to make, but the moves themselves are not the problem here. If I wanted to change I might switch to Power Thrust for the burst range, but that's about the range of change I'd allow.
