I always like to preface my description boxes by stating that family can be a beautiful thing when it is healthy. But when it is not, you can suffer years of PTSD, fears, unresolved internal conflicts, and lack of direction in your life.

When you are mistreated, abused, or severely undermined in your family you can begin to engage in behaviors that only make your life worse. Sometimes these decisions are intentional, and other times they are unintentional. Although the decisions you make (and I make) are often made because of who we are at the moment and how we think about our lives, our decisions are also steeped in how we were developed within our families.

In this video, I discuss how family can negatively impact your ability to make healthy and proper decisions in your life.
