It’s the LARSEBEI 7-inch LCD Digital Microscope!

Microscopes have come a long way since we were in school.

The ones we used were big, clunky and every single slide I ever looked at seemed to have at least three of my eyelashes in it.

Probably something to do with the single-eye lens that made you wink like Popey

The LARSEBEI 7-inch LCD Digital Microscope solves this dilemma with a large, top-mounted, 7-inch, high-definition LCD display that can be tilted up to 270 degrees for the best viewing angle.

On board, you’ve got an easy-to-focus 12-megapixel camera that can display a surprisingly powerful magnification of between 50X and 1200X.

If you’re nowhere near a computer, the LARSEBEI comes with a TF card slot that can hold a card up to 32GB in storage size.

Besides the 8 dimmable LED lights that surround the lens itself, the LARSEBEI also comes with a pair of LED lamps on adjustable arms so you can position the light wherever you need to.

Powering the Microscope is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides around 4-5 hours of offline operation.

All of this combines to form a solid, easy-to-use digital microscope that’s capable of producing high-quality image and video in real time.

So, what do we like about the LARSEBEI 7-inch LCD Digital Microscope?

Ease-of-use and connectivity is the major winner here.

We were set up super quick and within just a few minutes, we were able to get both pictures, video and audio transferred onto the computer for editing and uploading.

We also gotta say that the display, for a relatively cheap unit, is surprisingly high quality.

Images are sharp, clear and there’s no real compression or loss of video quality when transferring to your computer.

What’s the downside?

There’s not a lot to complain about when it comes to this fun little product.

Some users may find the viewing platform to be both a little undersized and also covered in a really ugly, speckled, surface material – making for unattractive photos.

It’s a problem that can be fixed simply by covering with a piece of white paper.

While some customers have complained the instruction manual was either sparse or not even included in their box, we found that it wasn’t needed….as usual

Connection to the computer via supplied USB cable was simple, plug-n-play and required no additional software installation.
