Unlike most of our GSW Historia compositions which aim to sound as authentic and historically accurate as possible “Gloria Invictus” was created as an artistic experiment, blending ancient Roman atmosphere with modern cinematic elements.

This song is not intended as a strict reconstruction of Roman music or classical Latin, but rather as a fusion of eras, a test of how ancient grandeur can live within a contemporary soundscape.

We are aware that the lyrics are not fully grammatically accurate, yet the decision was intentional — the focus was placed on tone, emotion, and power, rather than linguistic precision.
