Understanding soil biodiversity and nutrient pathways
Francisco López, one of our agronomists, spoke about the importance of soil biodiversity for agriculture and how to leverage microbial nutrient cycling pathways. We hosted David Olson, co-owner of Sustainable Growing Solutions, LLC (SGS), an agricultural input manufacturer specializing in microbial inoculants and plant nutrition products.
David provided further details on how to use soil microbiome analyses for product quality control and development, and how to identify and quantify the microbial species in products along with as their plant-beneficial functional characteristics.
Some of the topics that you can learn more about are:
What is soil biodiversity?
How soil biodiversity is measured?
Microbial nutrient cycling
BeCrop used for maximizing nutrient cycling.
