20-day Expedition Cruise onboard the Seabourn Pursuit to the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula (Dec 2024- Jan 2025).
We saw 7 kinds of penguins (Rockhopper, Magellanic, King, Gentoo, Chinstrap, Macaroni, and Adelie); seals (Weddell, Crabeater, Leopard, etc); birds (Striated Caracara, Black-browed Albatross, Giant Petrel, Arctic Tern, etc); and many Humpback whale sightings. But on the very last outing of the entire trip at Fournier Bay, we hit the whale jackpot as there were so many Humpbacks feeding in the bay along with so many Arctic Terns also trying to feed off of the whales. It was simply amazing!!
