Renowned Pakistani actress Hira Mani, celebrated for her versatile performances in dramas such as Do Bol, Kashf, Sun Yara, Mere Paas Tum Ho, Sunn Mere Dil, and Dayan, recently shared insights about her career, trolling, and family support in an interview with Maliha Rehman.

Speaking about her hit drama Dayan, Hira Mani said that while some scripts can be cliched or predictable, the audience’s engagement proves a project’s success. “Dayan became popular because of its grandeur and emotional storytelling. Even if certain parts seem unrealistic, viewers remained hooked till the last episode,” she explained. She emphasized that portraying emotional characters comes naturally to her, adding, “I’ve cried in both Dayan and Sunn Mere Dil. It’s a gift to connect with such roles.”

Hira also addressed social media criticism and trolling, stating, “I don’t take it personally. Memes and discussions show that people are noticing your work. Being ignored is worse than criticism. Earlier in my career, I experienced times when no one paid attention to me. Now, I’m grateful that my projects spark conversations and leave an impact.”

Discussing her personal life, Hira highlighted her supportive marriage with actor Mani. “We keep our professional and personal lives separate. Mani has always been my biggest supporter and critic. From my early days hosting the Chaand Raat Show to acting in dramas, he has guided me and stayed invested in my career,” she said. Hira also credited her extended family, including her father-in-law and sister-in-law, for encouraging her journey in showbiz.
