1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee (1 of 99)
1971 (3rd Gen.) was a new design for the “Charger”. Although the “Coke Bottle” design as it was known from 1968-70’ was popular, Dodge decided to make design changes for 71’.
It was also a time when the “Muscle Car” era was slowing down, as seen in production numbers.
Only 5,044 Charger Super Bee models were produced. 23 had Hemi’s and 99 had the 440.
On the car it said 5,054 produced
This example equipped with the 440 Cu. In. V-8.
There were 2, 440 engines available”
440 Cu. In. Producing 375 HP (4 bbl version)
440 Cu. In. Producing 390 HP (“Six Pack” Version)
Presented in “Bright Blue Metallic”
The “Super Bee” model was originally attached to the “Coronet” and now belongs to the “Charger”
