Everything Wrong With The Shanghai Special [Miraculous World]

Описание: Okay, I'm gonna write a stupid essay here for no reason, because I feel like I left out a lot of my thoughts on this special.

The Guardian is implied to be stronger than the Renren, because he's supposed to be able to take the Prodigious from them if they're not worthy, right? So why did he get akumatized when he could've easily taken back the Prodigious all on his own? Especially since Fei hadn't unlocked the power of the dragon. He easily could've defeated her without Hawk Moth's dubious help. Seriously, why is he accepting power from an obvious supervillain? Plus, Fei never said she wanted to keep the Prodigious, she was just trying to stop Hawk Moth from getting it. It doesn't make any sense!!!

And while we're on that subject, The Guardian, even amped up on Hawk Moth's powers, couldn't destroy the Prodigious with his magical lazer beams. Maybe he just wasn't trying to, because he didn't want to destroy the Prodigious, but it feels weird to me. He was already supposedly stronger than the Prodigious, which is stronger than the Miraculouses, but then he gets even stronger with Hawk Moth's magic—he should've been unstoppable.

Now, Fei. Her insistence at the end of the special that Cash "forced her to steal" for him makes me believe she didn't learn a darn thing. Cash did not FORCE her to do anything. She didn't HAVE to pay him for information. And she certainly didn't HAVE to steal to get that payment. As long as Cash got his money, he wouldn't have cared if he got it through honest or dishonest means. She CHOSE to steal. She CHOSE the easy way out. Blaming Cash for it just shows she's learned literally nothing and is not worthy of the Prodigious! Gah, it makes me so mad!

And the Prodigious! The Prodigious is definitely more powerful than the Miraculous. In that case, let's just have Fei deal with Hawk Moth! She owes it to us, after all our help. But no, guess not, let's just forget this ever happened. Because none of this really matters. Honestly, introducing a magical object that is a billion times better than the Miraculouses is so annoying. It makes everything we went through to get to this point feel completely worthless. These superheroes powered by literal GODS were outclassed so easily by a single girl who just got her powers today. It's so pointless now. Here I was thinking our superheroes were special, but no, they're actually rather weak in the grand scheme of things. It's so disappointing.

Sigh.

And my final thought: I don't consider this special canon. So if you're asking yourself why I didn't add infinite sins here, it's because this isn't canon. It doesn't MEAN anything. So there's no major plot contradictions, because this isn't part of the plot. I refuse to believe that it is. Because if it is, it pretty much ruins the whole show. At least to me.

Anyway, yeah, that's my rant. That's the cynical opinion of someone who pulled way too many all-nighters to get this video out on time and hates this special with all her heart.
