Kwara South youths, and Nigerian youths by extension, have been urged to embrace and sustain brotherhood and unity across their various communities as a strategy to overcome the growing insecurity facing the nation.
The call was made by clergyman, Reverend Reuben Ibitoye of Unity Baptist Church, Ilorin, alongside Islamic cleric, Imam Sherifdeen, during an interfaith Iftar love feast organized by the Kwara South Consultative Youth Forum (KSCYF) to promote peace and unity among youths in the district.
According to the clerics, who commended the initiative of the group under the leadership of Comrade Omoniyi Gabriel, the event is timely and critical in fostering unity, peace, and progress among youths across Kwara South and beyond, noting that unity remains a powerful force irrespective of religious differences.
