Now C420s 225 and 229 show up to join in the festivities. They go up
the East leg of the wye to the interchange and so do we.
Then there is lots of switching and yet another D-bag railfan.
The guy in the Navy blue jacket with the white sneakers.
Only he's a special case. Not only is he a D-bag railfan, exemplified by his
walking into everybody elses shot to get "his" picture but he's
certifiably nuts to boot.
My dad was the ticket clerk for many years at the Flushing Broadway
station on the Port Washington Branch, and this yutz would stand on
the platform as a train went by and pretend he was communicating
with the crew by talking into his Radio Shack scanner.
One more installment of this series to go, and you may see another D-bag railfan.
