AI's Riemann result has a ceiling. A human just found it.

Описание: Two days after OpenAI posted its quasi-Riemann proof (no zeros of zeta past real part 7/8), Purdue mathematician Baiying Liu posted an improvement: 0.875 to 0.874957. Tiny, but it says two big things. The AI's result is solid enough to build on, and the same paper proves this method, as set up, has a ceiling. Important: The Riemann hypothesis remains open. The quasi-Riemann result has not completed peer review. Liu's optimality result applies within his specified system of estimates; he notes it does not exclude improvements from stronger analytic estimates.
