Описание: “Big Louie’s Parole”, aka “Gun Moll”, Director: Ezra Stone. Writers: Hugh Wedlock, Howard Snyder, Jesse Goldstein, Phil Sharp. In the opening scene Joan’s friend Dorothy (Dorothy Granger) tells Joan that Brad’s picture is on the front page of the newspaper in connection with “Big Louie’s” parole. Joan gets a threatening phone calls from “Lefty” Barker (Lewis Charles). She enlists the aid of Brad’s friend, Martin Logan (Ben Welden), an actor who plays gangsters to help her scare them off. They have their “clubhouse” in the back of a sporting goods store. When the inevitable bedlam ensues, they use every piece of equipment in the place to facilitate an escape. A truly funny episode and a great print! Veteran actor Barney Phillips is on hand to play Brad’s Lieutenant associate. The other gangsters are played by Frankie Darro, Paul Baxley, and Dick Crockett. Most of these actors appear in other episodes of IMJ. Ben Welden appeared with Joan, along with Bert Lahr, in the 1937 film “Love and Hisses.”
