Avery Miller, a junior at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and 2022 Unioto HS graduate led the MVNU softball team to a (29-21) record and a 4th place finish in the Crossroads league tournament last week. Her batting average was .432 with 9 HRs and 58 RBI's. She also led team with 91 assists on the defensive side and set the all time MVNU single season RBI record (58) and finished 15th nationally. Avery earned All-Crossroads League First Team recognition while starting all 50 games at 3rd and 1st base.
